Astound Video is currently seeking applications for the following position:

Audio Transfer Technician

Description
Responsibilities include: inspecting and digitizing audio materials that come in; performing basic noise removal and editing; tracking material and burning CDs; and printing and packaging completed discs.

Qualifications
This is an entry level position. This position requires strong computer skills and attention to detail. Ideal applicant should have some experience with audio editing, sound normalization and equalization, and noise reduction techniques. Familiarity with the basics of video and video equipment is a plus.

Compensation
This is a part time position (approximately 25 hours per week) with opportunities for additional hours as workload allows especially October-December. Some evening hours are required.

This is an hourly position. Starting wage is $10 - $15 per hour depending upon qualifications, with review after 6 months. No additional benefits are provided beyond hourly compensation.
